 Highline Public Schools provides the following benefits:
·        Medical, Dental and Vision: For full time employees, the District will contribute the state allocation for medical benefits, less the retiree subsidy required by State law, district approved medical premiums. The District contribution for less than full-time employees will be prorated by FTE. 
·        Vacation: Employees earn fifteen vacation days during their first year of employment with Highline Public Schools and earn an additional two days for each additional year of service up to a maximum of 25 days annually.
·        Personal Leave Days: Employees receive annually two personal leave days to be deducted from the employee's sick leave balance.
·        The District will provide payment of membership dues to one professional educational organization per employee per school year.

Job Synopsis:
The Senior Database Administrator provides database and application solution strategy, architecture, technical design, and development oversight throughout an implementation and supports the execution of the database layer in an enterprise data environment to promote ease of use and clarity of information for the end-user. This team member will work with each functional team?s leadership to assess requirements and then assume leadership over architecture, implementation and support of the appropriate database structure, with emphasis on data architecture and governance. This role requires extensive involvement with senior personnel, coordination with technical team leadership and involvement of end-user technical and functional resources.
